My extigy cant detect the remote.

what's the deal with this? i see the red light go off on the extigy, but my computer says it cant detect a remote.

check your connection. might plus in backard like HD cable?

yup, all wires are connected. im listening to mp3's right now. and the external part even detects the remote, but my comp doesnt. so im assuming this is a software problem.

well actually, it says

Unable to detect any Creative remote control receiver. Please check to see if it installed properly.
