I consider my email pretty personal and don't feel like giving it out. Especially making it public so spam bots can come along and swipe it. Don't understand why its required. If you come to a forum its obviously to talk at the forum. Not by email.
 
If you look at the email addresses in profiles you will see a bot-harvesting deterrent in them all. Seems to work as I have received 0 spam messages to my email address on file here.
 
If you participate in the FS or WTB section, it is required so people whom you make deals with have a contact method for you.
 
I understand that, but it seems odd that you have a American flag and yet your forcing me to do something I don't want to. The private message system seems to work fine as I got 4 messages why force some one to work by email when you have this great forum?

We are not forcing you to be here. Those are the rules, if you care not to follow them, you are free to leave.
