Just got it and for a small 3 room studio apt I paid $46 for Electric using 816 kilowatts. Granted our power is cheap out here in the NW but come on now............ How is your electric bill?
I just got lights two computers a small stove coffee pot fridge and microwave oven. But did replace every lamp in this place with fluorscents 😛

Our electric bill this month is 170$ @ 2177kWh.

And yeah, it's only ~0.075/kWh here in Oregon.. cheaper than the national average.
 
That for one or two months?
For 2 months I payed over $100 a while ago..the latest bill was $80ish

Here in Spokane WA area the first 600 kilowatt hours is 0.04777
then after that it is 0.05718 kWh. so probably averages out to the same.

 
$350, poor heat efficiency (ie a 1inch gap above our back door) and 5comps 24/7 + 300w or more recessed lighting in every room.

Damn that is cheap. The lowest bill we have seen for our two bedroom is ~$60. No washer, no dryer, no dishwasher.
 
I live in the Portland area and have a two bedroom-2 floor-townhome, with electric baseboard heat. One bedroom is used as storage. Anyway, my bills have been really high like $117 for Feb, $101 for Mar. Now that the weather is warming up and not using the baseboard heat-a HUGE money drain. The latest bill I received was for $58... WOO HOO!!

I used to live in downtown Portland, in a high rise, and in over a year, never had a bill over $50. I think that is mostly because of the concrete walls... they stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Electric heat sucks in the PNW!!

I live in a 1 bedroom, 1 den apartment and I pay $90/mo.

No dishwasher (well, I am getting one in June), no washer/dryer...

I guess my 550Watt Antec + a ton of other electronics suck too much power.

 
One time, we got an electric bill for $328,000.00! Not the exact amount, but it was over $300,000! Don't know what they screwed up...

Indeed.

The reason your bill was so low in the high rise is because heat rises. Anybody that lives in an upper floor will always have the advantage of (some) free heat.

Weatherizing your house can go a LONG way to keeping the electric heat off as much as possible.

Take a lighter, and go around to all your windows and doors, slowly move the lighter around the seams of the door. If the flame flickers, or goes out, you have a leak, and are wasting energy.

Yea tell me about Electric heat sucking period I only paid 18 for my gas heat. The electric is killing me begining to think that they hooked up the water heater to my apt or something.

 
haha - The bill for my house last month was 150. PGE here in NW Oregon rates the first 140KWH at one rate, then another rate after that. Oh well.
