Out of the 3 years I have been using ebay, this is my only bad story I have to tell.
On April 4, 2003 I bought the DVD Fight Club (the 2-disc version) for $27.99 shipped. I paid via paypal that same day.
Here is a dialogue of the e-mails sent/received
Apr 8: (Me) Hey still no DVD, what's going on with it?

I have the reciept and the comfirmation number for the item you bought, and it is in route to you. You did not pay for overnight or 2day mail. I am sorry if you it wasnt there when you wanted it. It is on the way and I have proof. I am sorry that there is no more that I can do. If you leave negative feedback, I will be forced to do the same as well, seeing as how I have held up my end of the bargain. I cannot control the time that the mail takes. As far as your refund goes. If you are unhappy with the item once you have it for some reason, and it is returned in the same condition it was sent, I will be happy to refund your money. But, I cannot refund your money until I recieve the item back. If you like, I will call the UPS store and have them call to comfirm that your item is on the way. I am sorry that it has taken so long, but like I said before, you did not pay for fast shipping.

The item went out UPS parcel post from Mail Boxes Ect. and the parcel shipping order is #****** (Not even a tracking number) . This is the exact shipping that you paid for and if you are not happy, ask how long the shipping will take next time. That is not something I can personally rush when you do not pay for it to be rushed. Please do not email me again with your rude comments or I will file a complaint with ebay for harrassment.

I finally left the seller negative feedback and filed a claim with "SquareTrade" a free mediating service. What do you guys think?
The way the person said UPS parcel post makes me think they sent it out USPS parcel post. I'm almost positive it's either lost or they never sent it.
