My DSL connection is gone! Help!

Here is my set-up. Win XP Pro PC (dynamic IP 192.168.x.x -> Linksys Router (Static IP) DHCP Server -> ADSL modem. This morning my connection just disappeared. The ADSL light on the modem is steady on and so is WAN light on my router. I tried disconnecting from the router and connecting directly to the modem and still nothing. I disabled firewall (Zone alarm), ran System Restore, even called tech support. They checked my line and said everything looks ok and that I should be online. My friend suggesting re-installing XP. Any ideas?

can you ping your connections? like your dns server's ip or your default gateway?
Is your NIC ok? Lan ok?

My NIC is ok, responds to loopback fine. All I can ping is Default Gateway, nothing else.

Are you still using DirectTV DSL? They are now gone and pulled the plug on the Network.
