my door stopper just started vibrating and I havent touched it and nothing is there

I swear to God that creeped me out. I am sitting in my room, lights off, by myself, and all of a sudden my door stopper started vibrating HARD. Like, full deflection. It stopped after 2 seconds though. but there's nothing there. what the hell, that scares the piss outta me

I got a question regarding bolding words.

Couldn't people just make everything bold and add Anandtech Moderator at the end to try to trick people?

I'm sure you would get banned for that but i'm just surprised that I have never seen that happen

Yeah but your senses can play tricks on you. This was a real, actual, measurable something I saw. The energy came from somewhere....

ive read about this stuff happening in ghost stories/sightings.

you werent supposed to open the door. now youre not alone. its like an unwanted house guest thats there to stay.

dont believe me? sprinkle powder on your floor or take pictures with an infrared camera. check for cold spots and if you have a quija board use it alone tonite.

Is it a spring coil door stop, because the can get stuck if knocked, then spring back later....

a piece of spring with a rubber cap on the end. it stops your door so the handle doesnt put a hole through the drywall. makes sense doesnt it?

on a similar note: my sister has one of those talking elmo dolls. yeah, the ones that laugh when poked, and vibrate when poked three times in a row. well, its thrown up to one of those ceiling corner doll net holders, so nothing is near it, and its facing out the door too. every once in a while, at night it would just go off and start laughing when i walk by her room... :Q
