At least she's had a good life. I mean, dogs are destined to be stuck in a cage in the pound or hit by cars...etc. Look at what you've done for her and enjoy her time here as much as you can. I hope she doesn't suffer....

I am sorry for you and your dog. Enjoy her company as much as you can for as long as you have together.

Yeah, but that's like seven in dog years.

That's rough... don't let her suffer unnecessarily just because you can't bear to let go, though.

Never, EVER give in.
Love and cherish your dog like you would any other creature and you can be greatful for the relationship the two of you have created, regardless of when it ceases.

Much love,
Brad

My dog had a tumor on her left thigh. The vet cut it off and sent it to some university. The results got back and the vet said that she had 6 months. I think she lived 3 or 4 years more, so there is still some hope.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. :(

Don't take the one vet's word for it though. I had a dog once that the vet said had distemper and wanted to put to sleep right then and there in his office. I asked if there was anything to try first. He gave me some pills for the pooch, I took him home, made him take them and he recovered completely.

There may be hope. Good luck with your doggie!

Yeah we just spoke to the vet and not the surgeon and they were more positive. They said with medication and the right diet change things should be ok. So I guess Ill just have to pray and see how things go.
