Heh-heh...our chihuahua dislikes hispanic people too! Doesn't mind MOST black people, (our grandkids' dad he HATES), but any of the heipanics in the neighborhood even walk by, and he goes nuts barking and growling at them.

The only reason he doesn't bark around Asians is because he thinks he'll get eaten if he angers them.

Sorry, couldn't help it.

Edit: Seriously though, what about darker-skinned Asians, and what about Middle Eastern people?

You're not cooking them right. Slow simmer for at least 4 hours so they won't be so tough and stringy.
Use a smooth Cognac Cream sauce or a Tomato Basil to bring out the full flavor.

Maybe someone who is black hit your dog at some point in the past. And, you're dog's probably thinking, "well, ya'll look alike to me!"

If this OP is white (and I believe he is), then this isn't wierd. Wolves will murder their own kind in the wild, even newborn pups, if their fur color isn't right. They have strict social structures related to reproduction. So your dog (being a domesticated wolf) sees a person with a different skin color and he thinks they're from another pack, and thus a potential danger.

When I was in college, we had a doberman mixed with some other big dog. Sweetest thing on earth and loved everyone, strangers included. The only person he ever went after was a black guy that was friend that came over for homework. We were shocked at the dogs reaction. Then we quickly realized ... never saw a dark skinned person before. I think it startled him.

Sounds like something that is usually trained into the dog. Any racists people in you family or friends that have contact with the dog?

That sounds kind of far-fetched.
How would you do that anyway? Hold up a pic of a black or hispanic person and shock the dog or something?

Does he apologize afterwards like Brian on Family Guy?

No I can beleive it, my dogs also bark predominantly at specific races. I think we all have different signature smells.
