why did he die?
Bladder cancer. We thought she had a bladder stone and she had some routine surgery to remove it, until it was discovered during the surgery and we made the decision to put her to sleep ;(. If we hadn't done anything, she probably would've died in 1-3 months, a very uncomfortable death (the urine would have no where to go, the cancer was closing off the exit of the bladder).

sometimes euthanasia is the best option.🙁

I lost a Cat about 6 months ago and that really was hard on me. He was a good friend. Since then I got a new cat and that made me feel alot better. Goto the local pound a rescue a puppy it will make you feel alot better.

My cat is 21, I've had him all of my life and love him to bits, I'm going to be mortified when he eventually dies 🙁

wow that's an old cat.

My 6 year old cat died last month in my arms. It still brings tears thinking about it. Hope you feel better.

I know what you're feeling. I had to put my best friend down after 11 years just a couple of years ago. It was very, very hard, like losing a family member. Hell, she was a family member. I was used to having my "shadow" follow me everywhere and sit wherever I sat.

I still miss her, she was the best. I'm sorry for your loss, it does get better though.

🙁

Poor doggie... I hope you can look back and say that he had a good, happy life. I know I'll be equally sad when my dog passes away, too.

what breed was she?
Miniature American Eskimo

🙁

I had an American Eskimo when I was younger. We had to put her to sleep because she started having painful siezures multiple times a day. Sorry to hear about your loss.

There's one doggie who will only be getting headbutts in your dreams now 🙁 I wish he/she could scream at you one more time.....

Very sorry for your loss. I just got some "arm time" from my jack russell terrier.
post up some pics of the good times, if you can.
