My day yesterday beat this

Here is a summary of my day yesterday:

Get pulled over in Pentagon parking lot for not following police hand signals. After this happens I find out that my license was suspened. Because of this they tow my car. No one touches my car so I yell at them so they put me in handcuffs for an hour while they tow me. Got 3 tickets for driving on suspened, failure to yield to pedestrians, failure to obey police hand signals.

They physically took my license so I had to get a ride home to get all the paperwork that proves I am actually me. Got new license for $95.

Later that afternoon when I went to get my car out of impound, I tell the cop essentially that hes a worthless pos. Pulling out of impound lot I shift from reverse to drive too quick, and peel out a little. Another ticket for reckless driving from the same asshole that gave me my 3 earlier in the day.

Nice day huh?
 
so you yelled at the cops when you were at fault and you want sympathy from us?

LOL, not very likely...prepare to get flamed n00b 😛

you yelled at the cops BECAUSE they didn't touch your car? that's strange, usually people wait till someone touches their car before yelling. 😉
 
So it sounds like if you was paying attention to the cop the rest would have never happened. How did you not know your license was suspended? 😕

it's happened to me before....they sent the suspension notice to the the old address on my license...i had just changed it a few days prior...i had forgotten about a court date for a ticket payment and they suspended it...but i didn't yell at the cop who took me to jail for it a few weeks after it happened...not like it was his fault
 
I have date on my license that tells me when it expires. Considering you're a govt employee you should know how these things work better than anybody.

It didn't expire. It was suspended. ie. He did something stupid and they yanked his license.

I never get why people yell at cops.

They can easily make any given situation 10x worse than it is if you are an asshole to them. You deserve what you get. There are more ways to handle a situation than yelling. Maybe next time you will remember that.

Dont get me wrong, that does suck and all, but you brought it on yourself so why should we feel sorry? Thats like me chopping my hand off on purpose then coming on to ATOT and posting (one handed of course) that my life sucks because I only have one hand.
 
Driving is a privilege, not a right. You lost that privilage when you got it suspended. That day could have been completely avoided if you were smart enough to take a bus or train to work.
