I am all verklempt. My daughter had her very first politically correct birthday party this weekend. It was a lesbian couple, one mom was black roman catholic and the other was white jewish. It was freaking awesome. I am so glad we moved into this neighborhood this summer. This is multi-culturalism at its very best.

I always take down the demographic information of anyone who comes to a party at my place. That's how I know if it was a good party or not.

Hahahahaha. Seriously... This is what society has come to in liberal land? And what did this enlightening experience teach your child? Diversity is strength? How? Why? Will she sleep better at night knowing this happened? How? Why? Why was this such a great experience for you? Explain how your life was enriched or strengthened by this?

Will you kill yourself if she doesn't marry a black male? Let's hope she finds a white man. I'm guessing you tell her every day she should be a lesbian or date a black male...

As if that isn't the definition of racism/sexism, and all sorts of other hypocritical crap you spew.

There's a black kid in my neighborhood that hangs around my house quite a lot...it never occurred to me that I should ask him his religion or sexual orientation. Hope he's a gay Muslim...then I'll feel really good about myself!

You mean you don't have summer cook outs/barbeques or holiday get togethers with your neighbors? You have to wait until your child's birthday to invite them over. Guess it's different up in the great white nord eh?

Wait what? I am totally confused. Was it your daughters birthday? Is she a lesbian? Is the black?

"She had her first birthday party" As in she threw a party for a while lesbian jew? Or was it your daughters birthday?

Can you imagine the horror if it'd been all black people?

You're only supposed to have one. Maybe two, max. That way you get to feel good about your commitment to diversity while ensuring that nobody at the party can act in any way you are culturally uncomfortable with.

We need to come up with a protocol. This ad-hoc stuff is downright repulsive.

So you went to a party where no-one shaves and wears Berks? Did you check their stove for Sabbath mode?

You fuckers are just plain mean. I hope your daughter had a wonderful time and I am glad you notice that noticing the presence of diversity, especially newly experienced, even while implying a certain amount of difference consciousness, something I think the human mind can't avoid, is also a nice experience. May you experience more of it and that it even feel normal.

You're so lucky. Our daughter's first PC party only got a white Buddhist. That's barely a minority anything!

Would you have the same level of enthusiasm if you found out your lesbian neighbor was a Conservative?

My sister would never live next to someone as stupid as the OP. Not willingly, anyways. :\
