I have a picture of my brother when he was that age sleeping upside down hanging off of the chair. Won't that hurt when they wake up?

I like sleeping on my stomach in a recliner so that I am bent backwards at the base of my spine, but that looks a bit uncomfortable even to me.

A few weeks ago I found my younger daughter in almost the exact same position at the kitchen table & snoring!

15 minutes like that & I'd be ready for traction!

Why do you keep plastic on the chairs?

We just bought them at a store closing. Redoing the dining room.

And why do you keep the manufacturer's advertising stickers on your pc? That's incredibly annoying. I see it all the time on cameras and camcorders.

Kids have a different set of physics they abide by. Also, they have two stomaches, one for food, and a much larger one for sweets and treats.

I agree with him. I always peel off all the stickers.

wait, I just noticed something. Was she trying to walk around in your wife's heels?

Those are actually shoes she received from her older cousin as hand-me-downs. Not quite big enough for them yet but she loooooooves shoes.

Where does the love of shoes in girls come from? My kid's 4 and is insane for shoes already - did it start that early for yours too?

Cute pic :)

You're right. I should have custom built a quad-core PC with two Nvidia 9800s SLI'd, 4TB Raid array, a massive aluminum case with water cooling so my kids could have a computer to play StarFall.com, ToonDisney.com, Reader Rabbit, and other educational games instead of getting a $175 Compaq from CompUSA.

$175 Comaq FTW. I missed out on that one (they only had one left so I let my friend get it), but I did get a $200 eMachines and a $270 Acer (my HTPC) that have never given me any problems. For people who aren't power users, I always recommend that they look for these cheap systems in the weekly sales flyers rather than buying a $1000 PC and trying to get 7 years of use out of it.
