So the next day, another friend is showing the rest of us how it happend, so he falls down and breaks his wrist too, exact same injury. So now I get on the monkey bars to show those two how not to break your arm. Guess what, I fell down too!!! Luckly I only sprained my wrist, needed to wear a soft cast for a couple of days. But if this isn't a best example of kid idiocy, I don't know what is.

So...did you get the "if all your friends jumped off a cliff..." speech? :p

A friend of mine broke his arm when we were in grade school - and it wasn't until two days later that he decided to go to the hospital:Q

Update:
My wife took Cecilia to the doctors yesterday for a follow up visit and they discovered the break isn't healing correctly. They have to reset the bone, which means they are breaking her arm again to set it. :( They said they down put her under before they do it so she shouldn?t feel much pain. I?ll let you all know next Wednesday how it went.

My daughter has broken her left leg and her left arm both (accidents caused by older brothers). It's tragic man. :(

LOL, my thoughts exactly. as long it heals properly and doesnt affect the growth plates, a broken bone isnt too bad (after the pain subsides). i loved getting my cast signed when i broke my foot. why, when i was her age, i had to walk 10 miles to school in 3 feet of snow with both legs broken. heehee, man i feel old.

ouch ... best of luck to your daughter.

i broke my ankle at the very end of january and couldn't even walk on crutches for 2 weeks cause i sprained my other ankle at the same time. it was a hard few months. i just finished physical therapy last week and this thing still aches almost every day, however i can still walk around and go to the gym, but not run (only eliptical machine) for cardio. she'll be okay.

EDIT: and oh yea, i have a metal rod about 6" and 6 screws in my ankle that helped it heal better, so atleast your daughter doesn't have any hardware in her which is good :)
