My dad is ex military, so I've been schooled in firearms since I was about 14. THis is my first gun of my own though. I do agree that children should be taught the PROPER use of firearms early on. Better for them to know than to find one around the house and start playing with it.

Holy crap. I didn't know how expensive they were. I'm not really sure if it's a 22 or a 23. I remember him telling me that it had night sights though and I BELIEVE it is a hi capicity.

LoL, you know nothing about firearms do you? You dont even know what model you have when its on the side of the gun. You dont know if you have nightsights which is fairly easy to figure out, turn out the lights.

And lastly, theres no such thing as a low capacity gun, just a low capacity magazine. 😛 You can purchase glocks with nuetered 10 rd mags or full capacity mags, theres no difference in the gun itself.

OD = green (probably stands for olive drab or something like that)
night sights = tritium sights, glow in the dark
compensated = gas vent on front of barrel (on the top) to counteract recoil

BTW as far as decent guns go Glocks are cheap. For the price they are quite good, but they are not expensive guns.

Compensators reduce muzzle rise. The felt recoil remains the same, the compensator just redirects it , so that time to sight on target is better.
