My Current setup (in sig) was wondering if it was possible to OC anymore

I was wondering, with my current setup at 3.5GHZ wtih default voltage is giving me fairly good performance I was thinking if it was possible to overclock it more. While I have been able to get it at 3.6GHZ, it wasn't stable one bit even with more voltage. My system runs at 45-50*C under load and 35*C on idle, so my question is:
Will water cooling improve my overclocking results?

Is that processor a Northwood or a Prescott?

If its a northwood, you probably won't be able to hit much more than what you're at, 3.5 is a very good OC for that chip.
If its a prescott, its possible, but unlikely that you can go higher with water cooling IMO...but i don't know much about how prescotts OC.

Yes I understand that it's a good overclock and that Prescotts have better performance when overclocked past 3.5GHZ compared to Northwoods but I still feel like I should be able to overclock it more. I see those guys bring those processors up to 5GHZ and while I know that is:
1. Unrealistic
2. They are using liquid nitrogen
3. I'm not willing to risk going that high

It's mostly the people that get speeds like a 300MHZ FSB that really get me thinking, why don't I have a FSB that high. Would the only way to get a FSB that high would to get a prometia cooling setup? I have a POLO 735 3 in 1 setup and wasn't sure if water cooling would improve my overclock or not.

ts3433 is right. 3.5ghz from a 2.8 Northwood is a already a great overclock. Prescotts, on the other hand...

look at his sig
Pentium 4 3.4 Prescott @ 4.0ghz
XP-120 + Enermax 120mm, 2300RPM 63CFM fan

Yeah, I don't think you'd see much more from water either. You're probably near the chip's limit.

I was looking at other forums with people commenting on my chip and they think that there is some 250MHZ FSB limit or something. But then some other guys commented and said, "no I was able to get my FSB much higher" so I don't know.

Would that mean he requires no fan for his "large Heat sink"?

What kind of cooling are you using? I have the same chip and with and ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe and I have been able to only get up to 3.19ghz with the stock fan at 40*C idle and 55*C under load?
