if you go into a car dealer and have them see if you qualify for an incentive APR, like one of those 0% APR deals, they will probably share your score with you. but don't do it to often as having it pulled like that can stack up against you
of course, the car salesman may be disappointed when you don't buy the car
i have over 20 disputes open with Experian. There are hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of open credit that aren't mine
i pulled my credit for the first time and saw how low it was, which is surprising since i've always been good with credit/payments. i advise everyone to at least check their credit report once or twice a year...
If you don't check your credit regularly and/or have alerts, it will cost you way more than $15 to fix your credit after identity theft if you get hit with it
