My credit score is 682. Wil at&t make me submit a security deposit?

I just ordered the iphone 4 and I was already charged for it from my debit card. Right now I'm 21 years old, in college, and have a seasonal job that pays a little above minimum wage. With my credit score, do you think at&t would have me give a security deposit in order to activate the phone?

I ask this because while 682 isn't bad, Bank of America denied me for a credit card because my income was too low; however I have a job. I guess this seasonal job doesn't show on a credit report though.

I guess I'm just wondering if the credit score number is the only thing at&t looks at, or if they look at income as well.

Thanks

I never had to pay a security deposit when I got a cell phone in college, and I only had an on-campus job... albeit, it wasn't a smartphone (some $49.99 Samsung flip phone).

I have sprint right now and I wasn't required to pay a deposit either.. but that was last year when I had all my debts paid off. This year I have around $1700 in debt with 2 nearly maxed out cards, but I have a seasonal job and I will have it paid off..

If they tell me I need a deposit then I'll probably just go with the EVO.. or just wait.

Doubt you'll have to put a deposit down. I didn't when I got my 3gs last year...was 19 at the time. They didn't ask about income or jobs or anything like that. Simply a credit check.

I was also opening up my own account with them. So I'm almost 100% positive you'll be fine.

Just called the sales representatives.. they took my info and told me I would have to pay $0 deposit for up to 5 lines.. feels good man.

Now I guess the only thing I should worry about is if they'll have problems shipping to me because I used hickory trails lane instead of hickory trails ln, or if they'll cancel the order since I paid with debit.
