My cpu usage is 100% and nothing is opened!!!

Temperature rose to 77 degrees. Any suggestions?

What is getting the CPU time? Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and look in Task Manager.

I know you said nothing is open, but do you have software CPU cooling running in the background? I assume not, since your CPU temp is 77 degrees. . .but monitoring software usually reports a CPU usage of 100% because of the software cooling.

you prob have stuff like fastfind, antivirus, scheduler, power manager running in the background without your knowledge. clear up such stuff from the startup tab in msconfig.

Download taskinfo and see what's using the CPU. Especially useful on 98 and ME as their system/task monitors are so crap.

Make sure that you have got a big coolling fan on it!
This is a particular tunderbird problem.
