My coworker has worn the same shirt for 4 days in a row.

I sit in an office doing computer work most of the day and as soon as I get home I change into more comfortable jeans or sweats. There's no reason I need to throw the pants and shirt I wore to work in the wash unless I dripped some coffee or something on them. This doesn't apply to underwear/undershirts/socks. Those of course I wear a clean pair every day. I have about 1 weeks worth of work clothes that I rotate wearing and wash them like once every 3 weeks unless I somehow get them dirty. My clothes last a long time due to less wear in the washing machine and it is better for the environment and saves water.

Same here, I tend to wear my clothes more after work though, since I don't have to wear nice business clothes at work. Just not crappy t-shirt/shorts... So I through about two wears on the shirts, and two or three wears on the pants before washing.

i heard of a guy that buys 3-5 of the same shirt/pants whenever he shops

he mostly shops online and always buys multiple of any item of clothing he buys

kind of strange, but there you go

yeap.

When i was working i would buy 3-5 of the same shirt/pants.

I do the same thing. If I find a pair of pants that I like, on sale, I will buy 2 or 3 pairs. I where khakis almost every day. I wash them each time though. I have at least 10 white polo shirts that are the same as well. I always seem to be able to stain them, so when I find them on sale, I stock up.

I have like, 3 white shirts (polo shirts), and they're all different. Which bothers me, because I really only like one of them. I need to buy more.

I also need more shirts in general, because I don't have enough. I'll wear a shirt once (maybe twice, if I had an undershirt and didn't wear the shirt long) before it goes in the pile. In short, I need more shirts.
