my computer's clock is suck

I'm on a college network, and we use Kerberos as the encryption utility. I absolutely hate it because it has to synchronize your computer's internal clock with it in order to log on. It always screws up my clock and sets it hours off, and always back to January 1998. So all the mail I send out seems like it's two years late, aned everything that's cataloged by date is always all screwed up. I always get sol frustrated. I've considered dl'ing one of those progs that logs into a server and gets the correct time, but I don't think that will work (for some reason...I don't know why I don't trust them, I just do). Grrr

Have you ever tried one of those programs? I don't use one cause my clock seems to work fine, but I try some the programs occasionaly and they do what they are supposed to do. It seems to be a viable solution for your problem.
