My computer wont recognize my sound! :(

I just formatted my computer and when i went to check everything out i noticed in the sound didnt work

in the device manager multimedia audio controller question marked in the other devices section

does anyone know why this is happening, it worked fine before the format

i use logitech z-540 speakers

Have you tried installing the software drivers for your sound yet? If not, post what motherboard or sound card you've got and we can help you track them down.

solved... mobo onboard sound got turned off for some reason
