My computer wont play any games other than counter-Strike.

I'm his brother 🙂 Its not heat, checked that, 44c cpu, 27c ambient. The vid card has mild to no OC. What its been doing tho, the undervolted cpu/agp slot suggestion seems feasible, dont really see it being a software problem, HDD died about a month ago, new one went in with fresh install of XP.

I'm gonna let him try out my mobo once my new one comes in, and see how that affects things 🙂
 
I may just reinstall XP AGAIN!! I figure if it's a software problem, then if it's a frest install of XP, there shouldnt be as many problems...

Or I'll just try to fix it manually....bah.
