My computer restarts out of no where

I added an extra hard drive and video card. every once and a while when i try to run something the computer turns off and restarts.

Should i assume my power supply isnt strong enough?

That would be my initial suspect. Add up the requirements of you components and see what your power supply rates as (should be a sticker on the side of the unit).

You could also try unplugging those components and see if the reboots go away. That would definitely help naildown the power supply as a suspect.

My Computer > Properties > Advanced tab > Startup and Recovery Settings button >

Uncheck Automatically Restart. This was microsoft's way of getting rid of Blue Screen's of Death. Make the PC automatically restart

Control Panels > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer > System

Look for the red ones for more information about your crashing 😉

Hope that helps
