Sorry to post this in so many places, but it relates several parts of my computer.

I was using my computer as normal just surfing the internet . . .then my computer suddenly makes this clicking noise and resets. I think odd . . .and it tries to reload windows but fails. So after much troubleshooting- I decide to open it up, and I can smell this burnt odor coming from it. I look around, and I notice that the ATX power connection between the motherboard and power supply had totally burned up! Who's fault is this?! The power supply? The motherboard? The surge protector? The power supply and motherboard are pretty useless now I think. I have quality parts, an Antec PP303X PS, MSI K7T Turbo Mobo, and a Belkin UPS. I seriously need to claim some warranties here.

Should I try claiming Belkin's warranty for power failure? Or should I just get one from Antec for the PS? Would MSI give me one too?

Help me out!!

That happened to me once, and i was pissed... i took my computer (the whole thing) to the computer shop where i bought my case/power supply from,a nd bitched at them..they told me that it was a shorted drive--i didn't believe them--made them replace the PSU, and took it home, never had another problem again.
