my computer not listing all my hard drives

Hi,

I installed a sata drive on a asus a7n8x deluxe motherboard, installed wxp with sp2 as the boot drive.
My old hard drives don't show up in My Computer, but they are listed in device manager
(also, in bios).

If I boot from my old hard drive, all the drives show up in My Computer.

I also placed a drive in an external usb drive case and when I plugged that in,
it also didn't show up...but when I plug in a jumpdrive in the usb, that does show up.

Anyone know what can correct this.

You probably just need to assign a drive letter with Disk Management.
