My Computer is showing i have 2 Dvd drives, but i only have one

a while ago, before i got a dvd burner, i installed Alcholo 120% to play games from my HDD.... with the installation of this, it created a dvd drive in "My computer" for some reason... now, when i installed my dvd burner, its showing as another dvd drive.... how can i get rid of the one that shouldnt exist, which is drive J: ???

That sometimes happen.. The best solution is remove both and then reinstall (reboot and let it find) one.

Alcohol 120% creates a virtual drive. It is used so that the image of a CD/DVD will run just like a real/original copy. It's a very important feature Alcohol 120%.

As Skorpio said, Alcohol 120% (and most other CD emulator programs) create a virtual drive so that you can use "CDs" that are stored on your hard drive. If you want to get rid of it, go into (in Alcohol) File>>Options>>Virtual Drives and change the number of virtual drives to 0.
