First off apples with apples if you have illegal copy of there OS they can protect its there's not yours and if you do not acitvate correctly without contacting them the process releases the defense code. Worm was a bad choice of words by me sorry. and it effectively shuts down the pc . as in the case above not all pc's shut down completely. And thats the facts get over it. Comparing music left to intelical theft is really stupid.......................
BY the way you yourself said that if you do not activate it shuts down your PC. That requires a process I rest my case................................................................
I seem to be taking a bashing from people who use illeagal OS buy your copies please. Dam I hate thievies
Fall asleep on the period key? If the computer is not activated, it does not boot into Windows. At all. Period. End of story. There is no "difficulty moving around online" there is no "half way" about it. It does not boot into Windows. Microsoft does not "put" anything on your computer. When activation does not happen in 30 days or less it someply stops working. There is no process to remove or affect at all. The OS simply needs to contact the activation server and activate Windows. Those are the facts. Accept them, and get over it. Your posts are mostly a pile of crap. You talk out of your @$$ and make statements you can't back up with facts. And you continue to make accusations as to the legality of our OSes. Come on over and I'll show you my receipts, COA and original media for all my OSes and other software.

LAST post on this thread......If activation does not take place in Grace period windows will not boot I have said this all along.........I also said in order for this to take place a process cause this.........I never said it was download on to your PC .......It is defense to protect OS theft and that requires a process.........If you reinstall XP to many times a window well open telling you that you must now activate by phone...... If you are online this process well take place automaticly.....After you talk to the on line rep and explain why you have reactivated windows so many times......If you give a satisfactor explainsion your legal copy of Xp well be instintly activated......If you have not given a good explaination it well not be activated period..... If you do not have access to the net.... The rep. well walk you threw the process which requires you to open task manager than process and than to shut down the process that I will not name on line.....I am sure that many people know the name of this process but never give it a thought......All I every stated is that I have seen cases were this process does not work properly and instead of keeping XP shut down it allows it to open XP and your programms move real slow because your Cpu is working so hard to to shut down XP....I also said that this was a worm that was a poor choose of words and changed it to a code .... But the fact is when it works correctly and stops XP from opening thats what it is code........But when it doesn't work correctly and allows XP to open its has now become a worm eating up your CPU ......Hence the slow movement nothing wants to open .....It stays attached to the open process which will remain nameless.....If you close it in processes than your pc well return to normal speed just as if XP were activated......Now in order to do this most people well need microsoft tech to guide them threw the process.... They well instruct you to open task manager, open process and close the name less process but its not over yet because.... The damaged code that started the whole dam problem has now become a worm and must be removed from your pc.....The tech well now take you to a site were will you download WORM BLASTER and your problems are over......Zinn2b

Please, dear God, tell me that you're talking about the Blaster virus. Please let that be the end of this ridiculous thread....

Yes. It would be a silly comparison. How exactly could you compare IP theft to IP theft.
Here's how that comparison would go:
IP theft=IP theft.
Retard.

Your performance issues are consistant with certain types of worm viruses. A quick way to see if something like that is going on is to check out your network traffic. If you are not surfing downloading anything online and you see large amount of network traffic, chances are your system is infected with something nasty.

Either way, you should scan your box for viruses. Update your AV software if you have it. If you don't, check out
