While we all know that this is not the fastest computer that one can build, it's a pretty good one :)

I personally would go for Athlon XP 1700+, 1 GB RAM, and a 100 GB 7200 RPM WD.. But yours is pretty good, too :)

lol...i know and this computer is only 3 weeks old and already it's shadowed by far superior technology! sigh...i just can't win. But it's better than my previous p2-400 with a voodoo3. I have a question though, for my video card, whose drivers should i use? I"m gonna do a clean install of win98se (i don't have anything nicer) and was wondering if i should use nvidia's unified drivers or PNY's drivers? Thanks.

Last time I checked, PNY did not have any drivers of their own, and simply forwarded me to the nVidia site. If PNY do have some custom drivers, I would get those as it is usually better to get the drivers for your custom hardware, not just for the reference part.

However, PNY seems to have adopted nVidia's reference design, so in this case it probably doesn't matter.

Hmmm...a 3dmark2k1 score of 1537? I'm guessing there's something wrong...I don't know, call it a hunch!
