What are the temps? Do you have an alarm in the BIOS set to beep when temps get to a certain level?

I don't know what causes it, but I just got a 1700+ that I've been trying to overclock and I got random beeping whenever I tried to put it over 2 GHz. It ran stable in Prime95, but would constantly beep. My board is a Abit NF7. I attributed it to probably having a poor quality power supply that was causing the voltages to fluctuate too much and that was causing the beeping, but I don't really know.

temps are fine...
about 40-45 idle
and 50-52 at load...

i'm starting to think its the power supply too...
