i tried switching, memmoy with good memmory, and it still stalled, ive reinstalled the OS countless times, and tried a diffrent video car, still stalls.
it usually happens when my computer is just sitting there, (its not power managment, i tried turning that off) it just freezes, and i have to restart, if you have any ideas, please post them. thank you

Heh i just went through this myself, hehe, advice - make sure you have a spare reset button handy, hehe, mines worn out after last weekend....a few things to consider: Your mouse.....WOAH, i'm using a logitech optical, and by uninstalling those drivers and letting windows deal with it on it's own.....that solved some of my problems......that and keep your sound card under watch, i think that's my main issue, install that LAST after all your other driver updates and stuff, and try and make sure you've got the latest version of Direct X.......good luck with it, i know what it feels like....

uh... freezes could be caused by anything and/or everything.
your best bet would be to reformat and reinstall windows (or whatever you were using). if it still freezes, then at least you nailed it down to hardware problem. if it doesn't freeze anymore, then it's a software problem and that's when you install all your drivers and software one by one until you find out which problem is causing the problems.
