My computer" doesnt work

When i load a disc, a game, normally it loads and gives you alittle autorun with a little menu but it didnt do that so i tried installing my game manually. But when i attempted to OPEN the cd or explore the cd, the my CPU file froze and didnt respond, it does this everytime i try loading something manually. I double click on it, nothing happens, even after 2 minites. How can i fix this?

Try going in device manager and deleting the cd drive. Reboot windows and let it reinstall the drive.
