My Computer does not like Meet the Parents.

Apparently, It does not want to play past the Macrovision screen.

Other DVDs work fine but this one.

Does it have that crappy PC Friendly software? I always had trouble with that garbage and had to use my normal software to play the DVD.

I noticed something else. I have that zonealarm software and that PCFriendly software tried to write to the internet, I do not know what is tried to write but I was pissed. I hate programs that talk to the internet without my knowledge. I love that zonealarm.

I've got a few movies with PC Friendly, and my computer would lock every time I tried to play the DVD using the PC Friendly software.

Also, I don't understand why each movie said that I needed to install the PC Friendly software, even though I had already installed it for another movie I had. Is it really different for each one?

Anyway, if I play the movies with the software that came with my Hollywood Plus DVD decoder card, then I'm OK and have no problems. I have now removed the PC Friendly software completely.

Yeah, I tried to play Gladiators and that PCFriendly sh1t reaked havoc with my system. WTF? I had people making fun of my expensive system. I felt like an AOL user.

I had problems with Meet the Parents the first time I tried playing it. I ended up reinstalling PowerDVD before it would work.

PC Friendly locked up my system when it attempted to force install its nasty self. As to why anyone would install PC Friendly, I could play Gladiator with my DVD software but could not view any of the extra scenes, etc. included with the movie without installing PC Friendly. I bought the darn DVD &amp; with the software that I currently use I have not been able to view the &quot;behind the scenes&quot; shots.

Just for fun, I took a look at the PC &quot;Friendly&quot; web site since I haven't been there for a while. Here is their number one solution for problems with the Gladiator DVD: &quot;Play the movie in the software that came with your computer.&quot; They then have the nerve to say that the real problem is your normal DVD software!! But yet everyone's normal software will at least play the movie, unlike PC Friendly. What a cop out. I now remember why I stopped checking into that website: it's worthless in terms of support.
