My computer died :(

my computer is a scsi raid base with 64 MB cache. (Adaptec). Yesterday, the cache memory crapped out. Now i can't do anything to get it to boot but wait for new cache memory. 🙁

Using my 128MB K6-2 450 with 4GB right now.

I want my pc back.

dam man that sucks.....

did you have to pay for the cache memory and how much was it?

At least you didn't have to replace anything else major....

<< Ha ha.... scsi went bad.... I guess you should have used IDE, eh?? 😉

hahaha, that's really going to help me now.

I have IDE raid on my system also but IDE are only for storage. I have 3 80GB 5400 rpm so it's not going to be that fast. Cache memory coming on Monday.

I have a paper due on the 25th too. 15 pages.
Not that much time to work it. Oh well.

Well that stinks ! At least you've got a backup PC to use till you get yours fixed though .

<< yeb, backup pc is good but i can't play warcraft3 on it >>

but at least you can get your email and conduct any online business you might have, always of # 1 importance in my book 🙂
