My computer chair keeps creaking when I lean back!

It?s driving me mad, every time I lean back on the fvcker it creaks incredibly loud!! :|

Sorry, I had to air my anger.

I'm in need of a new chair, something I might purchase tomorrow. I've finally had enough of this damn chair. I've had it for about 4 + years now.

I?m thinking of a nice comfortable leather reclining computer chair. Hmmm

Rocking back for 4 years will put some stress on the spring. One of these days you're gonna lean back, hear the spring crack, and fall over backwards.

chair lube?

I?ve tried some spray stuff that is supposed to lubricate joints, but it didn?t help. Part of the chassis is crippled too.

I can move the chair left to right quite a bit, when it should be sturdy and have no movement at all. I?ve also tightened all the screw to no avail.

its really easy to fix. don't lean back.

That?s not a solution, that?s a compromise.

To be honest, just general movement of the chair creates the creaking noises. I believe this to be mostly down to the slightly crippled chassis.

I think it's perfect time for out with the old and in with the new.

I don't intend to spend much on a new chair, just enough for a decent one.

I just bought a new (used) chair for the g/f. Bright red. Controls for all movement. She loves it.

my chair I got a 2 years ago from stapels had developed a nice lean to one side. I don't have the money for a quality chair and everything under a 100 bucks feels so cheap.

so I went to a few second hand stores and for 15 bucks I got a nice very solid officer chair. looks circa 1980 but its a steelcase chair and build like a tank and very comfortable.

Agreed. Never compromise, it's a sign of weakness. 😉 After 4 years I'd say it's time for a new chair. Take your tax $$ (if you're that fortunate) and treat yourself to a nice new chair.

Especially a computer chair. It could be covered in the previous owner's fap juice.

Bware the chair creak!

It is a sign to others in the house that you're leaning back and enjoying the pwrn.😛😱

Always precede the creak with a loud YAAWWWN, "These taxes and bills are hell!"...lol
