I can't believe I am replying to your ignorance twice.
If you are so good a chemistry then you shoudl know that when you place a salt molecule in water, it separates into two ions. For example: NaCl will separate to Na+ and Cl-, thus creating ions. These ions are what caries the charge. When you DE-IONIZE the water, you remove these ions, Thus what I said is 100% true, and your ignorance has stained it. >>
That still doesn't change the fact that it's chemistry and not physics like you claimed it to be.
And ionization of water doesn't change the fact that it's the salts in water that make it electrically conductive. Ionization is just a phase from salts dissolving in pure H20.
And good three minute reply, looks like you took me up on my offer and actually looked it up. Good fer you! >>
Physics has basis in chemisty. There is something called molecular physics. Have you heard about it? no.
To the latter: I think you are missing the point. What I said is the same thing as you said, but I cover the whole spectrum of salts. When salts ionize they separate into two electrically charged particles called IONS. When water is de-ionized, it removes the electrically charged particles through a process called osmosis.
You probably haven't taken, if not failed science.
