i love the openness :p

all kidding aside, this is exactly what i would get (case, keyboard/mouse are personal preference type things so that doesn't count) except for the cpu. i would definitely go dual core. you can get a 4200x2 for like $360 so you'll still be in your budget. it's a 2.2 dual core vs the 2.4 ghz 4000+

your psu should hold. it's a pretty good one.

gl building :)

Looks like you did your research. The only thing i would change is the processor. I would personally go dual core in that pricerage. An opty 165 or X2 in the same price range. The powersupply will power everything just fine. Since you are not overclocking the corsair value ram may be a better choice for you. Its about 25 bucks cheaper.

Good build, but get yourself a 7900GT instead.

Dual core can be a tiny bit more trouble, but it's well worth it. You can download porn and game with no performance hit!

DC games lower (the 4400+ is about = to the 3700+ in gaming.) but i think it is a nice addition to be able to do multiple things at once w\o any hit on your gameplay. 4000+ games like beast and it is hard to beat with any DC option besides a 4800+ and FX-60... just depends on what you want.
