A bit too much on the PSU me thinks ;) 1000watts would be good for at least one maybe two more 6950's :p

Sweet build! Man, the more internal shots I see of the Corsair 600T, the more I'm tempted to get it. The exterior styling doesn't appeal to me, it's the only reason I don't have it already. How quiet is the machine while idle/load?

Wondering why your two power connectors to each video cards are different colors. One is pure black while the other has yellow. Is one an extension?

I have all 4 fans hooked up to the controller...and the thing is pretty darn quiet. You can only hear the wooshing of the fans really. While gaming, I just dial it all the way up.

idle, with all that on I am at 26C, 45C under full load ... not OC'd yet.

OC'd the gpu's, and they hit 88-90C while playing BC2.

One card is using both built in PCIe 8 adapters, and the second card is using some modular ones it came with.

I like the exterior, I hated it in pictures, but it's REALLY growing on me. I also have a mod shop that is making me this side panel :

I wonder what your PSU efficiency numbers look like at idle? I'm guessing around 50-60%!

PSU is overkill as you well know, but that side panel looks pretty sweet!

sidepanel is going to take them 1-2 weeks to cut properly, and get the hinges set up perfectly. If you can tell form the picture ... his hinges are not even usable.

PSU runs around 300WATT~ idle, so 30%~ if that....kill-a-watt told me so. Load is barely 500WATT in BC2, with both 6950's running 95-100%.

ooooo, that side window is awesome.

And 300W on idle? wtf? I thought the newer graphics cards like the 6950 have pretty darn low idle power consumption.

Very nice! I should have taken pics of my BIL's computer, that way you all could laugh at my lack of cable management.

Yeah, something like that ... it could be lower, I tested like 4 computers that day to compare, stupid of me to not write them down.

What case is that?

Very nice machine

I like the cable management in that case. Problem is I don't like anything else about it.

If you're considering a new case, try to see it in person ... it looks different when you actually have it. I was very off put by the case, but it's really growing on me.

The other problem is where my case is in my desk the top power buttons and ports won't work.

If you have ANY problems with the case Corsair is at your doorstep to, help or ship out a part: my Corsair 800D had issues with it's Hot-swap bay connections and they sent out those and a front Hotswap door cover within a week

Kudos to Corsair!
