My commute the last 2 days

This has been my commute the past 2 days and will likely be the same if not worse for the rest of the week:

Tule fog can suck it.....

According to many here, you should be calling in sick because it's too dangerous to drive. I'm sure your employer will understand.

It's not the fog that makes it too dangerous to drive, it is the txting crackjobs out there plowing into the fog at 77 mph...

This is Hwy 152 in CA where the speed limit is 65mph. But this isn't a normal highway with on/off ramps. Basically farm roads where tractors, semi's and old people just come off a stop sign onto the highway so it's sketchy AF. You never know when a car will enter the highway. At least with on ramps you expect it. The car in front of me was prob about 60-75' going about 75mph. They disappeared within 3 sec. of me taking the pic.

At lesat the car ahead of you has his lights on.

This.

Cops seriously need to do a better job pulling over the dickheads that don't turn their lights on when legally required. So many times here during winter or rain I see 15% of cars driving around without lights on.

This is my commute every day.

Tule fog in norcal can be scary as fuck when driving on the freeway at night. I've been through it where you were lucky to see the road at all.

There was a few days here where we had a sorta fog/crystallization stuff going on. It was pretty cool and it made all the trees turn white the next morning. Could barely see across the road.

Gives it the whole silent hill look to things. 😛

But the fog outside is so boring! What else am I supposed to be doing??
Driving with your brights on, of course. That way, everybody will see you better.

Stand naked along side the road while waving a can of peaches. Totally freak people out as they zip by too fast.

"If my car thinks that the lights should be on, it will turn the lights on for me".

Auto-headlights suck in daytime snow/fog/light rain.

Reminds me a bit of driving through the smokey mountains a month ago. We had fog so thick it was like soup, no, more like a stew, or a thick chilli in the air. We couldnt even see across the street..

We turned around after an hour or two of 25mph ...

Speaking of auto headlights, I had mine on heading to work along with my fogs but about halfway to work people were flashing me. For some reason my lights had turned off and I had to turn my normal headlights on.

This fog is actually the worst it's been in awhile. Last year it wasn't nearly as thick that I can remember, but it is pretty scary driving. Especially at night.
