My co-worker got layed off and went crazy today.

Seems like a shame this is how he goes out. Being administrator is not exactly a dead end job

no its not, he is highly qualified and very capable in his job.

Felonies with explosives especially in this day and age won't be taken lightly, although I'm sure his lawyer could plead insanity or some crap like that

I would cut off relations with that guy- not cool.

No, I dont abandon my friends like that. He needs all the support he can get especialy now.

Yes, get him some help. He's married you said, right? Hopefully he can turn his life around w/o spending 1/2 of his life in jail... 🙁
best o' luck

Sad story. Luckly he did'nt hurt anyone else and may get some help out of this.

Hope he does, and you better call in sick the day he gets out🙂

Way to go Citrix!!

NightFlyerGTI,

Are you for real? With a comment like that, I hope your dearest friend cuts you off in your deepest moment. Damn man, that's just plain mean! :|

Citrix as far as I'm concerned just saved this guy's A$$ and probably more other innocent people around him. Tried by 12 than carried by 6. Which do you want?

(((( CITRIX IS A HERO!! )))))

He saved that guys life people! That's going beyond the call of duty. Today people preach, "Turn the other cheek" or "Just turn a bind eye" (ring any bells NightFlyer?) but thanks to people like Citrix, we can honestly say we have people that still care about what is going on in this nation. And this guy was hundreds of miles away, not just down the street.

Nice job dude!! As we say in the Distributed Forum, " YOU DESERVE THE HOT TUB WITH BEER AND BABES!! " 😀

That being said, Citrix and me go way back. It's nice to know there is someone I can count on and back me up no matter how bad it gets! (David Jensen comes to mind. :Q 😉)

Good job getting the right people over there.

I am surprised that they did not take him after he said that he took that many pills on MSN, that is a sure ticket to the ER 99% of the time. I guess they did not find any bottles (pill) around or he would have gone their first trip out there. I have worked many calls like that and they usually end up in a wrestling match because the patient does not want to go to the hospital.

As for the pipe bombs, that guy has some serious problems. You are lucky that he did not come back to the office with them, sounds a little funny that he wanted to know how many he would need to blow "himself" up. Talk about going "postal".

(and I thought I was depressed...)

:Q Whoa. That's insane!

Good job on taking action though. I know that alot of people proably wouldnt have done anything.

I think you are to be commended for doing the right thing. Perhaps someday the guy will personally thank you for getting him some help before he was able to do something that would have destroyed him, his family, and other innocent people.
