so i ordered a set of sennheiser hd555 on dec. 16 at amazon.com, and they had a shipping promotion, which was "all items ordered by X date will arrive by the 23rd. i received an email from amazon on the 21st saying the item has been delayed and was not shipped yet. so i pretty much assumed my package would not arrive by the 23rd, or possibly by christmas. :( however, i received an email from amazon on the 22nd and they told me the package has been shipped via ups next day saver. so i checked the estimated delivery on the ups website and it said it should arrive on the 23rd. :)

cool.

I've had my 555s for around a year now I think, they're amazing. They sound better after burning in, so leave some music playing through them at a reasonable volume for a few days straight.

Thank goodness. Not having those 555's arrive would have really ruined anyone's Christmas.

Haha the circuit city I work at,

we got 16 Premium 360s yesterday, we (the employee's) bought 15 of them, and the last was taken by web order before we even opened that day.

Meh, that has nothing at all to do with christmas. Its the same console if you got it the next week. Jesus doesn't care if you have a 360.

Reminds me of the story I heard the other day on the radio. A family spent all of their savings to make the move out to California so they didn't have any money to buy presents for the kids. They are working and working their butts off to pay off the debt and bills and such. One day, the father walks into the bathroom and finds his 9-y-o daughter with a spring in her mouth. He asks her what she is doing and she tells him that she's trying to pull out a tooth so that the toothfairy can give them some money to buy presents.

Haha, very funny, Scrooge. It's nice to have it under the tree and if you honestly think I see a connection between a game console and Jesus, well... I don't.
