best thread ever?

I think so. 🙂 I was just sitting here, working.. and suddenly in my head.. like a slow melody of an ancient peoples... I heard in my head "... ats .. ills.." "... cat skills..." "my cat skills", and then with a rush of life, in full glory, the ancient memory of "My cat's kills" came flooding into my memory.

I had to bring this thread up, for the next generation.

Cats are fucking awesome. Mine however never kills shit outside even though she has extremely sharp claws. She just sits on the outside window sill staring inside all day...

Nice thread resurrection..

I grew up w\ a lake/pond just across the street. Outside of the usual birds and mice, our old tom cat came home many times with small fish! We could only speculate on how he got them at the lake but he brought them home nonetheless.

My current cat is indoor so he only gets small game like insects and the such. He does however have 3 confirmed snake kills ( rat/grass snakes )

WTF is a vole?

A vole is like a field rat or hamster... scientists were using them as research to explain human relationships...I wrote a research paper in college about them to explain why people cheat, marry, fall in love, etc...

Kitty is no more =(

(I work with HBD)

Sad to hear... that kitty reminds me of my friends cat... he would catch birds and mice, brings them to us for approval, waits for us to tell him when to eat it... somehow that cat befriends dogs 10 times his size and lives and hunts with them sometimes... pretty interesting...

Man, that's deep.

Vole... who knew?

Yeah... they have mating relationships similar to humans and have mammal hormones like humans which makes them an interesting case study. They somtimes cheat, stay with one mate forever, etc...

One type of them have mammal hormones that make them monogamous. Another type of them don't have them and are polygamous.
