She plays with beer bottle caps, and knocks em around. But if you throw it, she runs, catches it, drops it and then she picks it up with her mouth and brings it back right in front of you. and drops it

She then prepares to chase after it again.

Do alot of cats play fetch?

Mine plays as well.

Although she sometimes gets selfish and just starts playing with the toys on her own after throwing them.

It's cute.

That said, I'm a dog person. That damned cat still bites the hell out of me if she gets close enough. I'd like to know that 100% of the time, my pet will be nice. Like a dog.

My cat fetches. Hell, sometimes she can entertain herself by playing fetch. She knocks her ball down the stairs to the basement, brings it up, and repeats.

Haha, mine does that too. It's favorite toy is a small pink mouse.

I have three cats and only one plays fetch. Is there a reason for this? We never really trained it to do this.

It just wants to play, the more you play around with it like that the more it will trust and like you. I have a cat that will follow me around when i call its name, or snap my fingers.
The thing is great, whe i dont want to be bothered it just goes away, hangs out when i want it to.

mine used to play fetch, and attack the screen when people walked by. Even now, stands up to my black lab and keeps him in check.

I have a cat who does that....

she gives kisses too. And when she is playing with a fuzzy mouse, she makes the weirdest noises...

Mine does. She has a little gold ball that she keeps in her food dish. If I throw it for her, she'll bring it back and wait for me to throw it again. She's also been known to bring the gold ball to you, if she's in the mood.

My cat likes to chase an ice cube around the house. He will actually try to reach into the freezer to scoop one out. When you throw it across the house, he runs over and picks it up. It looks like he has a giant ice fang hanging from his face. Then he brings it back to you and waits for you to throw it again. He also likes to sit on my shoulders while I walk around the house.

This is a five cat household, so attention is paid to the most deserving.

Peace

It's a cat douche.

Cat-douche, huh? I wonder if they've invented a dog-enema. Those wacky companies!

I know! The question is, is it a douche for a cat, or is it a cat you douche with?
