It came to me while in the shower right now, surprised no one said it so I did!

You're showering and posting on ATOT at the same time?

Waterproof PDA FTW! Ok, "It came to me moments ago, while I was in the shower..." But I thought ATOT members were smart enough to figure out that I didn't actually post in the shower - guess I was wrong! ;) It's my bad, I gotta make posts that are more retard-and-anal-retentive friendly in the future ;)

No! Eww! My ex-roommate did that and it grossed me out.

I gave him a seperate "shower"-sprayed him with that little spayer thing attached to the kitchen sink. I have no idea what that's called.

He's going to die unless you give him seven french-kisses.

Done, though now my lip is all bloody and my breathe smells like a cat's butt - does that mean it worked?

Gave him some wet cat food - he loves that stuff and it makes him down water as well. I'll rinse him off in a bit too. I doubt it was enough to be something to worry about so i'm not quite running to the vet yet.

I think you might have frenched the wrong end there....

They cat will be slightly inebriated, but otherwise fine.
I would wash him, though. The remaining beer in his fur will start to smell pretty bad soon.

No biggie...unless he starts hitting on your scantily clad roommate and shaving your head and/or coinpurse. Then you gotta put him in his place.

a friend's cat once ate some mushrooms... and not the tasty, portabello kind.

he was fine. and was probably one of the coolest, most laid back cats i've ever met.

i've also seen a pitbull that drank a bunch of screwdrivers at a party. she was confused and dizzy... but after a nap... just fine.

i think your cat will live.

Do not panic! If it was your last beer and the beer stores are still open, relax.

On the other hand, if the beer stores are closed, then yes it's perfectly normal to panic.

Try squeezing the beer out of the cat by putting the cat in the washing machine and using the spin cycle. When you see yellow liquid comming out of the drain hose, its should be your beer. Smell it before you drink it, just in case.

Don't worry. He knew what he was doing.

My last neighbor gave his dog beer all the time. He'd poor about half a can into a frisbee. The dog seemed fine, it wasn't even fat.

What kind of beer?

Shouldn't be a problem, but keep an eye on him, just in case.
amstel light. Just googled - supposedly hard liquor would kill him but the small doses of beer he licked probably won't affect him, right?

I'm going to rinse him off now, just in case.
Maybe you should've done that before posting on the internet to bunch of tech nerds and 14 year olds. Doesn't sound like you're too worried at all if you didn't wash him off immediately.

I can see it now - we'll see your cat on an episode of Intervention ...
