Sorry to hear about Rusty. I have a Cat named Pita and he is the world to us.

If you do decide to get another cat be sure to get a new litter box, bleach the area of the box and throw out all his bedding, toys, scratching post and stuff. This is to prevent the spread of any diseases Rusty may have had and or died from.

Before bringing in a new Cat be sure it has All it's shots and has been tested for feline lukemia/hiv as it is sometimes called.

how long has it been dead for? if u've kept it in the freezer, u mite be able to make cat stew outta it think about it ... feed on the cat instead of feeding the cat! if not, well ... u can always use the intestines to string your tennis raquet. wait ... u're a cat person, so u probably dont go outdoors much :disgust:

Sorry to hear of your loss. I lost a cat a few years back and it was awful. It was one of the hardest things I had to do when I brought him to the vet to be put down, but he was in rough shape. ::brokenheart:

One suggestion, if you get a new cat, get two. I had a neigborhood cat that would come over and hang out sometimes when I was all down about losing my pal, and it really helped. I decided to get two cats this time so if I ever lost one, I would have another pal to cheer me up.

One more thing, I think we should just ignore the attention whores in this thread who are posting with the sole attention of pissing everyone else off. :|:|
