My cat just caught on fire!!!

Holy crap! I was in my living/dining room opening up a can of cat food for my cat, and she jumped up on the dining table like she usually does to watch me and beg....Except that she apparently didnt notice the candle on the table too (its one of those fat round ones in a glass jar.) So I turn around from opening the food and her whole goddamm tail is on fire! :Q She wasnt too careful where she put it!!!

so anyways, she's fine as I grabbed her as soon as I saw it and smothered her against me....she gotta alot of singed hair, it smells like ass in here, and the funny thing was that she didnt even seem to notice her tail was on fire! :Q


i got a pic of it too! (not the fire!, just the aftereffects)
 
Yeah, i laughed about it afterwards too, she just keep looking at me with wide eyes wanting that tuna! 😀
 
My cat has done that too, well singed, not totally aflame. lol they aren't the brightest things are they

I have 2 cats and always have to watch em around the candles

Of course my two never want anything to do with me when I'm not busy,but let me crack the cover on a computer and there they are, my own personal ESD emitting system 😀

Glad to hear your kitty is okay.I have 5 of my own and have had a few close calls with the fire demon(singed whiskers etc.)Count your blessings and be thankful that you aren't this poor fellow. Kitty kitty.
