My cat is depressed

Lately, my cat's depressed. When she was in heat a few weeks ago, I had her... I dunno how to say it, but she had sex. And since she's come back, all she does is lay on her bench, and get up occasionally to eat/drink.

Is there anything I could do about it? Antidepressiva for cats exist, but she can't have them, cause she's (probably) pregnant.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Please, no "Put it out of it's misery." or "Cats are yummy." replies. Thanks.

EDIT2: Or "Make sweet, sweet love to your cat." replies.

People, I'm dead serious. She loved to cuddle and lay on my belly when I was watching TV, but now she hisses at our other cats. And she was always the 'mother-figure'. The little one (she's new) is confused.

She gets kidney stones from those.

laser pointer treatment

She used to love that, but now she hasn't got the interest for in anymore.

Spay her. Should have done that a long time ago.

What's that 'spay' mean? Like, neutering? I won't, she's a breeding cat. She makes me money 😀.

different kitty treats?

feed her earwax (seriously!) my cat goes ballistic

Why would I feed my cat earwax? I'm not letting my cat lick my family jewels either. Cats really like earwax?

catnip is good.

it'll just take time, pet her alot and give her a few weeks. Also make sure she is spayed so she will no longer go into heat and it will level her hormones.

Catnip! Yes, the solution to all of your cat problems. Thanks for that.

Also, I can't get her spayed, because she's a breeding cat. You see, she's a Ragdoll.

She isn't going to make any money on this litter.

Why not? How do you know? She's been with this chap, a quadruple (4 times) European champion.

Even if she is a breeding cat, they just sometime do not adapt to it well, I used to breed Siamese cats and found that some just didn't breed well and after their first time they just didn't act the same or didn't even get along with the other mate at all. I'd have to get them spayed/neutered and they were fine after that. They then are just your pets and not you money maker. Nothing wrong with that.

Cause she probably just got gang banged by a bunch of alley cats and will have mutt(whatever you call them in cat land) cats.

Well, this'll be her second litter. She did really good with the first litter. Also, I keep them as pets, the money is just nice, but I wouldn't let them breed or compete in contests if they were ill. Also, one of my cats couldn't handle the stress of the contests (many cats there), so she can just stay at home.

Really, I'm not a cruel master (or so I believe) for my cats.

Nope, took her to a fellow breeder.

BTW- if you want to get some catnip, don't get that cheap crap at the grocery store, go to Petsmart or a real pet shop and get the expensive stuff. The difference is amazing with my cats. The brand name is "Cosmic Catnip" They roll all over it get real happy for a while and then just chill for a few hours.

It's sunday, so I'll ask my neighbour if she has it, if she doesn't, I'll go to the store tomorrow. Thanks for the tip 😉.

Oh, neat. Now I want one along with a Turkish Van. I wonder if it's possible to train Ragdolls to like to go swimming like a Van cat.
