your cat doesnt love you anymore!

Personally, I like to keep my pussy in check. Can't have them galavanting about and having their ravenous way with whomever they please.

It gets worse, Lloyd. My parakeet, Petey ? he's? he's dead.

Oh man, I'm sorry, Harry. What happened?

His head fell off!

His head fell off?

Yeah, he was pretty old...

its natural. you saying you didnt know cats did this kind of crap?

anyway, i need to borrow your cat. theres one fvking bird that starts chirping arond 11pm and doesnt shut the fvck up until sunrise. i want that fvcker dead.

get a slingshot from Walmart. 🙂

Honestly this is the best. Slingshot, some large BBs, and you're good for hours of entertainment. Chances are you won't hit the bird but you'll scare them away in the most fun non-harmful way of doing it.

I suggest AWM.

flash bang the sob first and headshot!

bird with die yellin "OMGWTFBBQ FUX HAXOR MY PANXOR!!!"

seriously, she means them to be a gift to you. this is very common friendly kitty behavior. not so friendly to the birds, but just be thankful she likes you and doesn't think you're prey like the birds. 😉

my kitty brought in a bird once. he meowed and meowed until i came to see, and then she was so proud, rubbing himself on my legs. the bird was still warm when i picked it up with a paper towel. i threw it outside and let him eat it, although i found out later it's not such a good idea because they can get diseases from them.

Decapitate the cat. Problem solved.

You do know that male cats commonly kill kittens in order to put the female in heat, don't you? What kind of animals enjoys killing babies of its own kind. I'm not a cat fan. When I see one in the street- SPLAT.

i've never heard this and it sounds like a myth to me, but the truth is lots of animals do this.

and i can't help but mention one example: HUMANS.

If you were more knowledgeable you wouldn't call it a myth.

Cats normally do this. That is normal feline behavior. Humans do not normally do this. Humans usually take care of others' children. Dogs, cows, etc. will do this also.

Cats kill competitors' children, mice will do it, and some others.

Next time I see a dog in the street, I'll have to return the favor. Great attitude.

Oh, and I doubt that.. link?

You doubt what? That male cats kill the kittens to put a female in heat? Why do I need to provide a link to something which is common knowledge?

Do I also need to provide a link showing that the sky is blue and that you can drink water? Come on, this isn't exactly news.

Edit: I'll be nice.

link

"If a tom smells the scent of a rival tomcat he may decide that the kittens belonging to his 'harem' have been fathered by the visiting tomcat. This is not in his own genetic interests. Consequently he may kill those kittens. This has two purposes. Firstly it ensures that his queens do not raise kittens fathered by a rival male. Secondly, the queens will usually come on estrus within a few days and he can be sure of mating them so that subsequent kittens are his."
My cat had kittens when I was a kid. They were in a bed we put together in the basement.
The neighbor's tomcat wandered in one evening and killed every last one of them.
I was pretty upset. I remember thinking that it might have helped had we closed the basement door, but then the mother couldn't get out.
I didn't know it was common until after the fact. Live and learn I suppose. 🙁

It's not that black and white either.

You are correct that in the wild male cats will do this but you seem to assume this is uncommon in the wild. There are many species that exhibit this behavior, it is not limited to cats. The problem would be better solved by keeping the cat in the house where it would be much more likely to live a long healthy life.

Maybe you should consider the cat's perspective, 91TTZ. If my wife gave birth and I found out a few months after that the baby wasn't mine, I'd kick her to the curb and let her raise the baby with whatever money she could get out of the real father.

but i really want to kill the bird for my own selfish pleasure and revenge.

I did that with a BB gun and a woodpecker that would go at it right next to my window at 5:30AM. Missed the first time due to sleepiness, but not the second.

I think I slept in that morning.
