My cat eats toilet paper

I still do it sometimes. Good for your digestion even if it's a little dry. A glass of water helps though.

You own a cat so you should realize by now that they are stupid. Don't worry, the cats digestive system can handle far worse than toilet paper, and if not it will just pass it whole.

I have two cats. Kittens really. They eat everything from feathers [don't ask, wont tell] to the plastic pull from milk cartons to cigarette packs [their favorite]. If it's not tied down, it's fair game.

Just be glad your cat doesn't live here. I have a kid who refuses to put used paper into toilet & flush, often doesn't even make it into the garbage either :disgust:

i have eaten paper, but not toilet paper.

paper is mostly fiber... and chemicals (bleaches, inks)

My cats don't eat toilet paper, but they will attack the stuff. Unrolled a whole roll in my room one day, that was not cool.

One of our cats sees it as her primary goal in life to unroll and shred every roll of toilet paper and paper towel she comes upon. It's bad enough that we can't leave the unopened packages out within her reach - she'll rip apart the plastic wrap and start shredding the rolls inside. :Q

We've had at least two cats that thought wool socks and shirts were for eating. You think moth holes are bad...

Toilet paper should go through ok. You may want to give your cat a dose of catlax just to be safe. If your cat likes to eat things other than food, be careful. Some things can get blocked in her digestive system, which requires immediate surgery to remove. Also, be sure she stays away from things like poisonous plants.
