My car is now a victim of a hit and run

Going exactly 50 down a road due west, and a white car comes up. Looks and sounds like one of those ricer Civics (it was a hatchback one). I don't know why he did it, maybe to play around but didn't realize what quick swerving could do at 50MPH, hits the driver's side of my car, making me swerve all over the place.

Gaining control, I went to go to the side of the road (ah fvck, my driver's side mirror is gone) and then I noticed that as I went off the road, this guy keeps going. I had a passenger with me, so I asked if he was ok or anything, and I was still a bit traumatized to try and go after the vehicle. I called the state police and they came to file the report. Sadly, there were no witnesses other than my brother and I, and the police are on the lookout for a Civic that matches our description. This isn't the first time this cop has seen this happen before.

The damage:
  • Driver's door is dented, along with the driver's mirror being torn off
  • Front left part of the car also dented
  • Scratch on the wheels that circle the center part, as if I was hit by a Gladiator
  • Back left side of the car is also dented

Using a picture of what my car looks like, these are the areas that have been hit.
Example

I'll post pictures when there's daylight. It sucks because I just got Silverstar headlights on it too. Whoever that driver is, I really have no idea what I'm going to do to him/her.

[edit]

Alright, hopefully my bandwidth won't suffer from the ATOT effect. Here's some pictures. The flash on my camera does no justice, but I'm sure you guys would want to see the damage regardless.

Picture of the side. Part highlighted is actually a very deep dent.

Perhaps a better picture of that dent (complete with missing mirror)

Wanting to see how much the door is dented in (luckily it still has a full range of motion)

The wheel

The back wheel part

An attempt to show how deep that dent is in the back, and then some

Ouch. I hope you can get it taken care of with minimal hassle.

You should've chased them until they ran out of gas and beat them to within an inch of their lives with a tire iron.

Definately would've chased him down, but I had to make sure the person with me in the car was ok.

Meh, that will buff right out. Damn, I should've taken pics of my previous car that got slammed so hard it ended up on the side walk, and totalled. Wasn't a hit and run though. I got paid for the lost.

Unless I spun out or my car was completely disabled, I'd chase his rice bowl (ie civic) while making my passenger call the cops to give them the plate number. If no passenger, I have my phone with a shortcut to voice recorder just in case...

What a fvcktard!

I'm going to guess that the car was stolen though and you will likely never know find out who hit you.

More likely that it was just a young kid that didn't want to get in trouble. He probably went home and told his mom that someone hit his car while it was parked at school.
