Do you mean that your are experiencing rough idle?

Not every car. I know a few race-prepped cars that don't idle. 😉 It's fun trying to constantly blip the throttle just enough to keep it running.

That's called stalling!!

What kind of car? Do you notice anything before it stalls?

That's not a frozen fuel pump then. If it froze, it wouldn't start the first time, or if it did, it wouldn't restart after stalling. Under what conditions is it stalling?

on tuesday it stalled after was driving for about 20min, was making left turn boom press gas and it doesnt go, all warning lights go on, i put car in parking and restart and no noises, everything works smooth. today left car for 5hours parked, started it, let it warm up for few minutes, put it in drive to get out of parking space and it stalled, restart it and worked smooth

ohtwell but i am not positive if it's fuel pump

I guess gotta spend $$$ take it to shop monday, have them hook it up to the computer

Whatever it is, it's not freezing. Depending upon the mileage it could be the fuel pump relay, or it could simply be vapor lock, though vapor lock is generally only a problem during hot periods.

Depends, how many miles have you and spunky put on the car w/o changing the fuel filter? 😉 😀
